Saint Anastasia of Sirmium (d. c. 304) was an early Christian martyr, known for her courage, charity, and steadfast faith during the Diocletian persecutions. While imprisoned, she secretly comforted fellow Christian prisoners with food and care, even boldly confronting her jailers to proclaim her faith. She was eventually martyred for refusing to renounce Christ, and she is remembered in the Orthodox Church as a model of compassion, bravery, and unwavering devotion to God.
