St. Gregory of Nazianzus (c. 329–390), also known as Gregory the Theologian, was the Archbishop of Constantinople and one of the Three Holy Hierarchs of Eastern Orthodoxy. He is renowned for his profound theological writings, especially on the Trinity, and for defending the Nicene faith against Arianism. Gregory was also a skilled orator, using his sermons to explain complex theological truths in ways that inspired both clergy and laity.
